Nothing, all good! Well, what would help others is do not leave too late, prepare about 2 weeks before and practise with and then without the notes. Then on the day, give it WITH the notes, do not try to do from memory.

It was nice to have a starting point as I had left it too late. But the pack got me up to speed very quickly and I typed in and modified it so that is was style and comfort and words I woiuld use. But [it was] critical that I [now] had the structure and humour bit and serious bits

Advice on how to structure the speech, who to toast how to break the ice and generally provide a solid base and direction for the speech from begining to end was great.

My opening line was " I had a great speech written out for you all tonight but.........now that I'm married my wife has told me what to say!!"

The pack gave me the type of format to prepare my speech. As this is not an everyday occurrence, guidance is needed on how to present the speech and what the contents should be. This was all explained in the package.

Swedish Success

What can I say ....

You have come up with the jackpot as far as I am concerned with the material you sent me. It is fantastic and with me not being a great speech writer or orator of speeches it blends the perfect balance of what I have to say, need to say, and what I want to say with sincerity but not too mushy and witty without being too Jimmy Tarbuck.

Again I thank you and may I add that you may have just saved me from the wrath of my mother! Because when my brother got married I was his best man and I did not have a speech prepared and thought I could just ad-lib it.......huge mistake. I stuttered and stammered out a few mumbles of incoherent rubbish thus humiliating myself and irritating (putting it politely) his new bride and to cap it all it was all caught on video so everybody can watch in disbelief the worst best man speech in history.

So needless to say if I do the same thing at my own wedding not only will my mother tie a noose from the ceiling my new bride will gladly kick the chair away; and I am sure you would agree that would not be a great start to a long and happy marriage; especially for me as I would be dead swinging from the roof.

Something to be Proud of

My daughter was married in September 2003 and I did so want to make a good speech, the trouble was because I was so nervous about what I had to do I kept putting my head in the sand.

I am no public speaker at all, if I were a comedian I would have to tell my jokes to each person in turn, however once I down-loaded your jokes and speeches and the format of what I needed to say became more clear - I actually began to enjoy writing my speech.

There are always things you need to say at a wedding, sometimes not easy. My daughter had been in care years ago, and her foster parents were on the top table with us. So with your help I managed to get the balance between making everyone laugh and also creating a huge tear in everyone's eye.

I was well received at the end and so many people came and congratulated me, something I did not expect. So in the end I managed to turn a daunting prospect into something to be proud of. I will have no hesitation in recommending you to friends in the future.
