Mr. P. wants the speeches at a different time.

In a break with tradition suggested by our very experienced caterer, we are planning to make all speeches BEFORE the wedding breakfast. Would your services be suited to this format?

Hello Mr. P.

Provided the speeches are to be given after the religious or civil ceremony, our example speeches would be very suitable. They are planned for any time after the marriage has taken place.

Even if this were not the case, I am confident that the examples could provide a good basis for your speech, either just as they are or with minor modifications to your particular arrangements.

For example, if champagne is to be served at the wedding breakfast, and not during the speeches, you could adapt the speech’s ending toast by asking for a round of applause instead of asking people to "raise their glasses".

An alternative might be to ask the guests to finish with "three cheers" instead of drinking a toast.
