Wedding Planners Guide

Ms. S. wants to count her sponsor in.

I just want to know if the principal sponsor can give a speech during the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception.

Dear Ms. S.

The "tradition" is for speeches from the father of the bride, the groom and best man to be given during the wedding reception. However traditions are flexible, and anything is acceptable if it is arranged beforehand with everyone directly concerned. Following traditions means that guests 'know what to expect', so if you wish to add variety it is a good idea to keep people informed.

"After the big day, people might not remember what you said - but they'll remember the impression you made, whether awful ... or awe-inspiring!"

Audience Comment:

"Well Done!
Brilliant Speech."

Audience Comment:

"I thought you chose your words very well indeed."

" You have come up with the jackpot... it is fantastic... it blends the perfect balance of what I have to say ... and what I want to say with sincerity but not too mushy; and it is witty without being too Jimmy Tarbuck.
Much Appreciated"
