The wedding speech packages each contain five speeches plus wedding related jokes, toasts and quotes.

Speech Texts

The speeches are written by an experienced professional speaker and crafted to flow smoothly and cover all points of wedding etiquette.

The speeches are "ready-to-use", however you may enhance them for your particular wedding by:

• cutting and pasting from the speeches provided, or
• choosing from our jokes, quotes and toasts material that is relevant to the bride, groom, location, hobbies, work, family history etc.

The duration of each example speech is five minutes when spoken.

In our ready-to-use speeches the humour has been carefully chosen to minimise the possibility of offence to any guest. This is the safe and wise course if you do not know the guests well. However you may prefer to include some 'spicier' material. In our selection of jokes and quotes we include much more entirely safe humour and also include items with more adventurous subjects or punchlines.

Wedding and Marriage Jokes

As well as jokes already written into your five speeches, we provide access to a database of 'wedding jokes' that have been created and collected over 15 years. You can use these to replace those in the speech texts.

Our jokes are adapted to be suitable for a wedding. Many "marriage" jokes that are great in a small group, or on an evening out, are simply wrong for a wedding speech itself, unless, that is, they have been crafted to fit into a speech, and tailored to fit the occasion.

It is a mistake to think that any funny joke will naturally work well on the day. You have a better chance if the jokes have been adapted for inclusion in a wedding speech. Even then its success will depend upon the audience and the delivery. From the many jokes provided in the pack, you should be able to find enough that meet your requirements and the tastes of your audience.

Over 200 specially selected extra jokes is a lot of jokes to choose from. Many published joke books contain less jokes; and less funny ones at that! There will be plenty of extra jokes for you to use during the days around the wedding, (the stag night?), and at any other time.

As well as the quotations & toasts already written into your speech package, we provide access to a database of over 200 wedding quotes & toasts. Add to those in your speech package or replace as you feel best.

Note for Jokes & Quotations: Although some jokes or quotations are most appropriately said by one or the other of the Groom, Best Man or Father of the Bride, most are suitable for any speech. Therefore these extras are the same for whichever type of speech you buy.
